I love the Banrock Station sparkling Shiraz.
Are there any other good sparkling red wines about? Am I a philistine for liking them?

Philistine, no! I'd had several, all I think, were products of OZ. While I have never had one that I really loved, I do find them an interesting diversion. Sorry, because I have not been wowed by any, I don't have any other names for you.

One of my faves is a red sparkling Malvasia Di Casorzo "La Sera", from Piedmont Italy. Fairly sweet and low in alcohol- tastes like red berry soda.
