Wondering if anyone has experience with this wine or maker? I have an opportunity to buy at a great price but can't taste first. The maker is a biodynamic grower/producer in Gasconey...Emery is this in your area? The wine is a blend of Ugni Blanc, Gros Manseng, Columbard and Sauvignon Blanc done in stainless steel. Thanks for any input.

New one to me. But it seems to sell for $7-8 bucks, so unless you have to buy multiple cases, not a lot of risk. There are some notes on Cellartracker.
I agree not much risk as I can get it for $5 plus shipping but must take at least 2 cases. I hate to buy wine that I've never tasted and end up with 23 bottles of plonk. I check out the online notes. Thought it might be something Emery has had as I thought it was close to his neighborhood.
I saw this as well but don't want 2 cases of bad wine and spend $150 for it.
Hi Bill,
Not my area, I wonder if Ian knows it. We haven't heard from him for a while.
Sounds like a difficult blend honestly, Ugni can be difficult to work with.

I know but I've had some really interesting wines from Gascony with Ugni blends. I'm trying to get at least a sample from the distributor.
