Hospice du Rhone suggestions?

Question

I'll be attending a tasting next Saturday at Hospice du Rhone in Paso Robles. I'm not sure which wineries will be there, but I've posted a list below of participating wineries. Any I should make a point of trying? Cedarville makes excellent wine, for those who've never tried them. And Sierra Vista makes my favorite viognier.

I tried some of their wines last year and loved them, but I also sawthat it had been sold. The new owners said they were going toconcentrate on the Big 4 wines and the Rhones weren't among them.

Mise-en-scène:  Bill with partners opened Solano Cellars in 1978, a small wine shop in Northern California (which remains today, under different ownership, a gem of a compact, approachable wine retailer with eclectic selection).  During Bill's approx. 14 years of ownership he took over an adjacent shop space and merged them, remodeled to include a tasting and bistro counter, and obtained full ownership.The tiny anecdote is about a bottle of Champagne that Bill had just opened to offer for tastes at the tasting counter on the upstairs level.  This counter had a fine polished hard wood surface.  Somehow the bottle slipped from his hands and dropped, standing upright, a short vertical distance, 10-15 cm (4-6 in.) onto the hard counter top.  There it stood for a moment, then shot its entire content out the top, instantly.  Harmless but impressive (and of course a waste).  Those present looked at each other. Bill wore an expression...
