Bill mentioned Piccolo Mondo @ 850 Thurlow or Crocodile @ 909 Burrard.

OT, how many posters to AFW are in Vancouver this summer?

Is the appeal to track down Bill's hostelries or give the wineries a look-to? We are there 13/14 June.

Well if you were here for long enough, I'm sure something could be arranged.....

Sorry jcoulter, i couldn't find my post so here is a reasonable facsimile.

A very short cab ride away from the Sheraton Wall Centre is a restaurant called "Cioppino's". Perhaps a nice 15 minute stroll on a nice June night in Vancouver. Next door is a smaller wine-bar bistro attachment called "Cioppino's Enoteca". The by-the-glass selection is mediocre but AFW posters should have no problem for a bottle or two unless there are better deals on board the ship. Go to the main website of Cioppino's

formatting link
and click on "Cioppino's entire wine list" and download the entire 38 page pdf file.

Cheers.
