Just back from Supermarket still trembling

Latest addition to the offerings at our local Publix - ChocoVine from Holland billed as wine with cream and chocolate flavorings. 14% alcohol makes me wonder what they started with. Everything else makes me worry what they ended up with.

Oh yes the Beverage Institute of America gave it a 90!

Whatever that is!

OOPS that is the Beverage Testing Institute

for likely much more than you want to know about Chocovine. It seems it is blended from French Cabernet with Dutch chocolate in Holland. Also click the link on the page for the gold medal awarded to it. How would you pair it with food? Perhaps with mince meat or pecan pie:-).

Scary stuff. I would have called it Puerto Caberno Grand Chuao.

It's a man's life in the Beverage Testing Institute!

(Loved that sketch)

La Fromage Grande

Have been serving it at our wine store for just about 1 year... we call it liquid crack... even better when you mix with an Espresso Vodka.... with ice... SHAKEN not stirred... we call it MOCHA Love.... ration 2 parts choco to 1 part vodka!
