lindemans cabernet sauvignon bottled 2002 is it consumable?
asked ...........
Lindemans make several different Cabernets.
Their Bin 45 Cabernet Sauvignon is a simple styled wine, meant for drinking in the short term - it should still be OK right about now.
The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a more serious wine from various winemaking regions in South Australia which is drink well now, and will continue to be a very nice medium bodies wine for another 3/5 years.
Lindemans also make single vineyard Cabernets from vineyards in Coonawarra bearing the names Pyrus and St.George.
These are both very serious wines - very minty-Australian eucalypt in character - which, although drinking well now will probably last another 10 / 15 years.
As to whether they are consumable - only of you remove the closure !!!!! ;-)))
Thanks St.Helier, for the detailed info !
