Napa Valley Recommendations

Greetings,

My wife and I and another couple will have a short visit (1.5 days) to Napa Valley in late October. We haven't been there for many years, and our traveling companions have never been there. I'd appreciate some suggestions for wineries to visit.

We'll be staying in St. Helena, and we'll have all day Friday, and half of a Saturday. We're not wine experts by any means, but are looking to learn and enjoy ourselves. I know that we really won't have enough time to visit too many wineries, but I'd like to give the other couple a good introductory sampling.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I always go to Prager Port Works next to Sutter Home on a small road.

Prager Port Works is always lots of fun. It's one of the places I always send people. Another place I've started sending people is Frazier. It's over the hill just EAST of Napa and it will take about 15 minutes to get there from downtown Napa but it's completely worth it. You must call for an appointment but it will be one of the best tours and tasting experiences you'll have.
