Though I won't be able to attend this year, I just wanted to call to your collective attention to the upcoming Wine & Chile Fiesta in Santa Fe, a truly fun and informative wine event. This year it runs from Sept. 22-26 and features many wine dinners, symposia, demonstrations and (of course) tastings:

Looking over this year's schedule, a few events stand out to me:
- A 2002 Burgundy tasting run by Wilson Daniels
- A Ridge Monte Bello vertical tasting (you listening, Ed? ;-))
- A Dom. Drouhin vertical
- A Rhone Rangers tasting
Based on my past experience, I expect that this year's event will be low-key and well run. I highly recommend it to those who could attend.
