TN Frozen Riesling

Quite by accident, I left a bottle of Trimbach 2001 Riesling in the freezer a bit too long to chill, and came up with a strange, accidental eiswein. However, the flavor was not bad, and the result might actually be useful for a summer picnic. Just for laughs, here is the tasting note:

Appearance: Shard-like, slushy, opaque.

Nose: Quite closed, faintest hint of lilly of the valley.

Palate: Essence of tart Granny Smith green apple, lime popsicle, bracing acidity. Wonderfully concentrated flavor ;.>

Overall: Despite this very unusual experiment, this is a very pleasing wine and will repeat this process again.

I love these tasting notes "wonderfully concentrated flavor".

I one time left a bottle of Riesling in a fridge that was set to maximum coldness that i wasn't aware of and it ended up frozen. I tried to taste what I could of it... and yeah, w hat a wonderful concentrated flavor it had. :)
