I know where to buy wine online, but where can one legally sell it? Someone mentioned that eBay does not permit the practice. I have a few wines that I'd like to sell. How would I go about it?

How about telling us what you have? I've bought wine from a poster here before, two 1992 Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill cabs most recently. About a year ago. Have had one bottle, which was absolutely divine.

my .02
Marin Wine Cellar bought some wine from my father's cellar which my mother was trying to liquidate in 1989 (she's not much of a wine drinker, and I became religious and only drink kosher certified wines now). They also purchased the last of my nonkosher cellar. Prices paid were significantly lower than retail, since they had to sell them at retail, but they bought quite a bit, encompassing a wide variety of excellent wine from diverse regions, and were a good "one stop shop" for liquidating a reasonably sized cellar. Since you have a Berkeley email address, they're pretty close to you, in San Rafael.

Dimitri,
If you're in the Bay area, try Craig's List. It gets _a lot_ of traffic.
Otherwise, you should certainly let us know what your selling on. There are lots of posters here in the Bay AFAIK.
