you have a bottle of one of the first growth bordeaux, which should be a fine wine. I'm not sure about the vintage, though.

The label is by the Canadian artist Riopelle.

The wine is only average, but the bottle should bring maybe a couple of hundred dollars, particularly if you can show that it has been cellared well, otherwise somewhat less just for label value.

BTW, there are 2 different labels that year.

And it's the only vintage with two different Riopelle labels: One with three, one with four disks (iirc).
