Basic help with TA testing

I purchased a bulk bottle of .1 NaOH and indicator solution.

The standard method would be??:

15ml of wine 3 drops of indicator titrate with NaOH until the ph is 8.2 The amount of NaOH I use is = to the TA of the must?

Can I use a larger sample of must? say 30ml ? then I would cut the NaOH in half for the TA value?

No need for colour indicator if you're doing the pH approach.

Not sure about the second question, but I think yes. Although what's the point in using a bigger sample, you'll just end up using more NaOH without gaining anything AFAICS

Yeah, you would. But TA uses 0.2 M NaOH, not 0.1. You can use the 0.1 but it will take twice as much so you have to take that into account.

So for you:

15 mL wine indicator (or not) NaOH until 8.2 NaOH/2 = %TA

If you use 30 mL of wine you would have to divide by 4.
