Rack a gallon or two into a smaller container

Other than transferring some into another container until she settles down a bit... uhhhhh u could cool it down a few degrees to slow it some.

How full was ur fermenter to start with? Good rule of thumb is 2/3 full max to allow for such vigorous primary fermentation phase. Don't need an airlocked fermenter until the must is below about 10deg Brix.. Until then, there's enough CO2 coming off to protect the fermenting must; just cover the mouth of the container with a clean cloth to keep out the bugs.

Once the fermentation slows down, that's when to transfer to airlocked fermenter for the secondary fermentation (slower) phase.

Can't think of any reason it won't be good... just less of it.

I hope that is not what is coming out of the carboy, it should just be wine!

I never put wine in carboys for primary. I always keep it in a bucket only half full or so for the first 5 to 8 days or until it calms down and the SG drops. I would recommend that it be moved back into a bucket until it settles down. By the way, that SG is way out of line. I hope that was

1.085.
