Any ideas of friendly way to rid vines of birds? I have a family of Robins that return every year and they try to eat the harvest. One year the parents raised a brood off of a vine of grapes.
Thanks, Greg

Bird Netting
I have a family of Robins in my rose bush at the head of a row of vines right now. The eggs have hatched and they will be gone my the time I put up the netting - around the first of August.
Any child could tell you that if you can get four and twenty of them .... ;o) Ray
That's blackbirds. The OP has robins. Not sure how many of those you'd need, but it's probably more, as they're smaller.

Shotgun?
Aluminum foil pie pans swinging on a string usually keeps birds away from an area. Also, you can buy fake snakes; birds hate to see them.
