I have some paper plans, if I can find them, for a under-stair wine rack. They'll have to be modified as I forgot to take into account the thickness of the luan I used for spacing- WHOOPS.... but they fit rather nicely. It holds / held about 120+ bottles, not filling all the spaces up. Since it fit under the stairs the tops of the rack was available for additional space too.
The next rack I'm designing uses pallets- I've got to do some modeling to optimize the bottle holding pattern but if I but them front to back side by side I can easily surpass that.
And if I can continue to get the pallets free..... :)
