I've been making Selection kits for about a year now and would like to try my hand at doing a wine from "scratch". I'm just not sure how to go about finding wine grapes in Southern Colorado. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I'm in Denver and Wine Works brings in fresh grapes each fall from California and Washington State. You can crush with their equipment, or take the grapes home.
I haven't done it, so that is all I know.

High Country in Monument orders in grapes every year from what I understand. I haven't bought any from him, but know people who have and seem happy with them.
Also, if you wanted to make a trip to the western slope during harvest season you could probably buy from some of the grape growers directly in advance.
The Rocky Mountain Association of Vintners and Viticulturists sometimes has grapes for sale in the classified section.
Mike, Ted, Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into them.

Look in their catalog for wine grapes.
