What would Be A Good Sg For A white Or Red Dry Wine. #1 Or So. Thanks For Any Info.

Very broad question. Depends on what you are aiming for. A bold red that can carry more alcohol I might start at 1.100 and have started higher than that. For a light red I might go down to 1.085. For an all round number

1.090 is a good starting number.

For a white grape I would aim at 1.085 to 1.095.

For most fruit wines I generally have aimed at 1.090 but now I am going lower, down to 1.085 or even down to 1.080.

Like everything else it is a mater of taste. If you like rocket fuel, aim for 1.130.
