I live in Maryland and I would love to visit the winery that makes the sweetest muscadine wine available on the East Coast of the United States. I have visited the Duplin Winery in North Carolina. They have pretty good wines. I have been trying to find a sweet Scuppernong Blush. I would like to visit different wineries along the East Coast during a long drive from Maryland to Florida. What is the best time of year to visit muscadine wineries? When is it legal for wineries to ship wines out of state? How can people obtain certain wines if they can't have it shipped to their state? Must some people drive through several states to purchase certain wines? I wish the laws made it easier for me to obtain muscadine wine in Maryland. Do you have any advise? I will certainly appreciate it.
Take Care,
