I spent Thanksgiving week in Belgium and spent time in Ghent, Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels and Leuven. The beeradvocate.com site will give you great information on the bars in most of these cities. In Leuven I particularly liked the Domus brewery bar:

Also, if you are going to Brussels you need to try the Delirium Cafe. Perhaps not as subtle of an atmosphere as many of the other more widely known beer cafes you might read about, but they have over 2000 different beers with a 3 inch thick beer menu and get a nice crowd each night. It's a fun place. And if you are going to Brussels, you just can't miss the Bier Circus.
