Does anyone know what is happening to the Chandos Pub in London (just off Trafalgar Square)? It looks like its got the builders in. Sorry to seem pessimistic but it doesn't look good

Are you familiar with uk.food+drink.real-ale? Post this question there, and you're likely to see a reply or two.
Signs on it say that its being refurbished. If so it should be back up and running soon enough.
The Green Man further up the road (towards Soho) is nice
