Fat Cat in Sheffield

I was just wondering if anybody could comment on the experience I had at the Fat Cat in Sheffield a couple of weeks ago. I had great hopes for this pub, as I wandered in out of the Sheffield Monsoons. The place was, to put it mildly, a disappointment. The Pale Rider was tired (not just a bit along in its maturation), the staff was more interested in flirting with each other than in the punters, and the place (though well attended) had all the atmosphere of a sedate funeral parlour. I would have put it down to my own rain-soaked mood, had I not had such a good experience a few minutes after leaving the pub, at the Kelham Island Tavern around the corner.
