Going to the Lake District soon to sample some real ale. I remember this particular shop from previous visits, but can anyone tell me if it is still there.
If not, can anyone recommend any other good bottled beer shops in the Lake District. I know Open All Hours in Keswick, but are there any others?
Booths Supermarket, in Windermere, had a HUGE collection of bottled beers when I was there at New Year. They also had a large collection of bottled ciders.
I don't know if this is typical of all Booths' shops but I was impressed.

Yeah - the one in Keswick is great too. Much better than open all hours - and cheap - very cheap!!!
I don't think so - I'm fairly sure it's been closed for a good year now. Perhaps someone else can confirm this.
Since the Lake District is such a large area, you have snipped the op so much that we can not read where about in the Lakes he is on about and the fact that my news reader dumps all read messages; on the whole, you prevent me and possibly lots of others, from giving an answer.
