Boyton Arms

Does anyone know whereabouts in Wandsworth/Peckham/Camberwell/Walworth a pub named the Boyton Arms existed? I presume it's long ago demolished, but a street name, or nearby still existing street would be helpful. TIA.

Come on - use your Google.

143 New Church Road

PubsInLondon.net says that there was a London publican - "Edward William Boyton, 143 New Church Road Camberwell SE5" from -

but also mentions a "Boyton Arms, Canal Place, Camberwell" from -

as far as I can see, there's now no Canal Place in London, but there's a Canal Street a few hundred yards from the 'forementioned New Church Road, Camberwell?

Elsewhere I found - "Boyton Arms - Canal Bank, St George, CAMBERWELL " from -

If you find anything, someone researching their family tree is looking for more info too see here -

(all thru googling about for a couple of mins)

cheers,
