Brussels recommendations please (BRUSSELS BOULEVARD)

The Zageman (an estaminet specialising in Geuze, with limited opening hours) and the Ultimate Hallucination (food-orientated and pricy) are the nearest. Possilbe the Bier Circus..

However, you are no more than a couple of tram stops from the centre (Rogier to Bourse)

I'm not familiar with a Brussels Boulevard but assuming you're talking about the city centre, you could do a lot worse than visiting the Delirium Cafe

A couple of things to watch though, the price of the beers goes up when there's live music on and I'm told that the quality of the aged beers can be somewhat variable, though there are some gueuzes from long-dead breweries that I reckon are worth a try.

Unfortunately these came after I had set off and there proved to be almost no spare time between the daytime and evening engagements, so I didn't make any of the best venues. Did manage to fit in a few bottles of Palm, Chimay, Westmalle, Leffe and a quick Rodenbach and I did get to check out the (allegedly) oldest bar in Brussels.

Hopefully have better luck if I go there again!

I agree that the guide produced by the Brussels branch was superb. I still have a copy from March 1999 and found it invaluable when I was in Belgium that summer. However how do you get an updated copy? Are there copies still being produced or updated? Every time I look in What's Brewing it just has 'Brussels: No contact at present'.
