JW Lees Mild Ale

Recently I had occasion to sample various Real Ales(*), and was quite blown away and intrigued by JW Lees Mild Ale. I have brewed a few mild ales, but up until now have never really had any real British milds from the cask. Since I don't get milds (or many cask-conditioned ales for that matter) where I live, I would be interested in brewing something anywhere close to the Lees mild; if anyone has any advice on recipe design I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts.

(*) Mostly Manchester area: Tandle Hill Tavern, Rain Bar, Britons Protection, Peverill of the Peak, Marble Arch, Old Boars Head, Merchant Arms (?); plus a few in Plymouth, Wales, and Cornwall (The Pirate, with *excellent* food!).

According to the Real Ale Almanac

JW Lees GB Mild OG 1.032, ABV 3.5% Maris Otter Pale Malt (90%) No.3 Invert Sugar (10%) East Kent Goldings pellet hops

45 EBC (about 23 SRM) 22 IBU

I would use white table sugar rather than looking out for invert. The yeast strain is never mentioned in the RAA but obviously not something too attenuative.
