Best method for selling a whisky collection in the UK?

My brother-in-law has a whisky collection he wants to sell. We were wondering what would be the best approach?

eBay or

might be possibilities, but we want to know if we could do better elsewhere.

Iain,

I think ebay works out pretty well, just as long as you follow their rules (ie put in the standard language they require). Whiskyauction I don't know much about, their site seems pretty cool but one does have to send the whisky to Germany and their hammer fee is pretty steep. Anyone dealt with them directly?

You have to watch your wording with E-bay in the UK , i believe in the UK your not allowed to sell the actual whisky unless you have a license , you have to put it so you're selling the packaging (bottle) and not the contents . you could always go through Mctears or even try one of the shops (LFW , RMW or TWE ) they might be interested.
