Urk. My great (or great, great, I'm never quite sure) uncle was the head Cooper at the Kilmarnock site in the years before WWII, and my father's side of the family hails from there.

I really hope the politicians can reverse this.

Simple fix, CHANGE the law from 'produced' to 'produced AND bottled'.

One of the reasons it is so hard to source sherry barrels is the fact that in 1976 Spain made it law that to be called Sherry, the wine must be produced, fermented, matured and bottled in Spain. Scotland should do the same with Scotch.

i hate to tell you but knob creek is better than 95% of all scotch.......n cheaper id guess.
