value of Bruichladdich

Hi, i had for present a bottle of Bruichladdich (single malt) 25 y.o. distilled in the 1968, limited edition (bottle no. 1160) branded "STILLMAN'S RESERVE". Anyone can help me to find the value of this greate whisky? Thank's in advance. Regards.

sells the Bruichladdich 1965 22y 48.8% (for italian market) for £220 and the Bruichladdich Stillman's Dram 26y 45% for £149 - the prices are usualy a bit to high. if I were a Bruichladdich collector (I'm not) I'd pay ~150-200 euros for the 25y Stillmans Reserve (which was bottled for the italian market).

HTH, urs

Having had a quick look at thewhiskyexhange.com, the closest thing they have is a 26 year old "Stillman's Dram" Bruichladdich listed at

149 pounds.

Not sure if this helps, but I guess it ought to give you a ballpark figure at least!

The value of the whisky lies in the nose and palate of the beholder ;).
