1975 Couvent de Jacobin

I'm not sure which wine this is. Louis Jadot current has one with this name, which is a more or less entry-level Burgundy. If this is what you have, then I'm sorry, an entry level Burgundy from 1975, which was a terrible year, isn't going to be any good.

There is also a St. Emillon Grand Cru Classé with this name, that I was previously unfamilar with. If you have the Bordeaux, then it may be a good wine, but I don't know enough about it to say for sure. 1975 was a tannic vintage, and many of it's wines are/were VERY long lived, the biggest question being if the fruit would outlast the hard tannins.

It's actually the Couvent des Jacobines Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé.

So I hope it would last some more years :)

had the 2000 for dinner sunday night,very nice one bottle had a bit more tannic structure than the other. this wine at least as currently produced is fairly soft, but my usual offer to drink it for scientific purposes stands.
