Been a very busy last few months and I have done a bit of lurking but no posting. Have tried to cut back on the wine consumption, goal is 3 days a week as I was getting a bit fat.

Having a bottle of Pennys Hill Footprint Shiraz 2002 tonight so if I can find the time I will post some notes.

That Ben Riggs sure gets around. He seems to make wines that are usually pretty good and usually up my alley.

Yeah I love Ben's work, huge fat joosy sun drenched reds usually. my kind of wine :)

The reference above is the wine, I bought a 6 pack at the winery of which I've drunk 1 and gifted 2 (1 to the surgeon who gutted me last year & 1 to a mate for his 30th)

Yeah I'm a big fan of that style too to be honest. As I always say "And I'm not ashamed!"

I hope you gave it to the cutter post-op, wouldn't want him going drinky drinky before he slices and dices.
