Taking the kids on a last minute trip to Chambord tomorrow (4th grade field trip as it were.) This is a little off the beaten path for me, looking for a place to stop in and discover. So, anyone know any great Cheverny, Cour-Cheverny or perhaps Touraine-mesland?

Emery, The one producer who's made waves in the US winegeek circuit (such as it is) is François Cazin ("Le Petit Chambord"). He makes several different wines, including a Cour-Cheverny.

Second Mark's suggestion- Cazin makes great wines. Also have tried Huards, but less impressed.
