Good notes, Nils. I've had several different vintages of this wine, and as you say it always has that characteristic copper cast to it. I also agree that it's a very memorable example of the variety, and worlds apart from Alsace Pinot Gris. AFAIK, there is no oakiness to the wine, but I'll keep your comments in mind the next time I try one.
