Riedel Sommeliers have Specs in the Glass

I just bought 4 Riedel Sommeliers, Bordeaux Grand Cru.

This is my first time buying Sommeliers. I have bought Vinum and Wine before.

All the glasses has spec/bubbles in them about 1cm in size ranging from 1 to

5 per glass. Additionally one has a couple of runs in it. It's like drinking out of a dirty glass.

Since the Sommeliers are hand made and have more lead, am I to expect these types of imperfections that I don't see in their glasses that cost a quarter of the price?

Thanks,

Doug

Back in the 70's I bought 8 Baccarat Haut Brions. I was lucky enough to buy

8 or 9 different patterns. Perfect! I'd say these should not have such flaws.

None of my Riedel glasses have flaws. Perhaps you can return them.

Sounds to me as if you got seconds. That's what we bought from the factory at 1/3 the price.

Just a comment, when I saw the glasses of all kinds being made, I didn't see any signs that the Sommelier range were made using a higher lead proportion.
