Rocca dei Mori Copertino

I picked up a bottle of this yesterday at Total Wine and was very impressed. It immediately became one of my favorites. It has a lot of flavor and zest. I found it somewhat like the Taurino Salice Salentino -- which I also like a lot -- but perhaps not quite as dry and "harsh" (I'm sure my descriptions leave something to be desired but I'm still a relative newbie at wines.) At $8.99 it seems to me a very good value.

I haven't read anything about this winery, or even seen much on Copertino. Does anyone have comments on this wine, or recommendations for other wines I might try based on my liking of this one?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks for that link... gives me a good idea where to start exploring. And I've ordered a copy of the book "Vino Italiano" that you recommended; it looks really interesting, based on the various reviews on Amazon.
