Tall Stories improve

The well publicised dearth of healthy talls in the Bulldog kennel is taking a turn for the better...at last!!

Cam Wight's ankle injury on Saturday does not appear to be serious.

Wayde Skipper and Will Minson could be back in 2-3 weeks.

Travis Baird is coming along, albeit slowly.

Darcy, Morgan and Walsh are obviously gone for '06, but in the best news of all... boom recruit Tom Williams is set to re-start running in 2 weeks, and is scheduled to play footy in June. The medics say the ankle recovery is ahead of expectation. That has to be great news, and I just hope for the kids sake he can get fit enough to crack it for a few games before the season ends.

Dunno what Tom Davidson has to do to get himself elevated off the rookie list...shame the "Bee" had a bye last week, as, at his previous game for them, he had a few tongues wagging.

Ummm.... for those unfamiliar with Aussie sport, this post relates to the perilous state of injury of my beloved Western Bulldogs Football Club. Humblest apologies for posting this in error to this learned group...:>)

Hey Swoop - tonight I will raise a glass, toasting the successful *rescue* of the miners in Tasmania.

14 days trapped underground! And walking out into daylight, unscathed.

Truly amazing - truly, truly amazing.

No problem, Swoop! You added at least a dozen new terms to my vocabulary.

Mark Lipton (Is a Western Bulldog any relation to a Westie?)
