Tonight was a simple dinner of roast chicken with rice for Andy and myself, so I opened a wine that Jean wouldn't be upset to miss while she's away:
2010 Dom. de Terre Dorees (J.-P. Brun) Beaujolais Blanc I liked this better than the last bottle of it that I had. This time, it's classic Chardonnay fruit in a mineral-inflected, unoaky package. A tad round perhaps, and it could have a touch more fruit, but overall a very pleasant wine for the meal.
