Possibly dry sicilian pastries, all those almondy things caught mid-way between north african and norther european pastry traditions... and possibly with some blue cheese? It is not completely dry, right?

AAAAAARGH, how could the genuine recipe for a VENETIAN dish come from an actual or even an expired Tuscan lady ??? Sorry, my venetian roots were showing...
Tiramisu would go well with marsala.
Have fun Nils

Though I am not familiar with the Marsala that you specifically mention, I would definitely drink it with Tiramisu. My recipe and preference for Tiramisu hinges on the presence of Marsala with the Mascarpone, and would enjoy to drink the same along side.
My two cents, Jason

Noone told me. They wanted us to drink Vin Santo with it, but we have avoided that - at all costs.
