cellar classic - rosso grande

A friend of mine who does a fair number of kits gave me a bottle of Cellar Classic Rosso Grande. He said he made it right to the instructions and it was very nice. It didn't have any of the draw backs that I normally attribute to red kits. I'm definitely going to try one of these. Goes without saying that I have no links to the manufacturer but dang wished I did, maybe I could get some free kits...

If you happen to live in the States they are distributed through Crosby and Baker, link below

Good luck on finding more info, better luck on the "free kit" quest.

I think the other thing I should have mentioned was a comment on my wine tasting ability - just about zero, I only know what I like. In this case I think what I was getting at was that most of my reds have tasted pretty weak and watery or downright shitty, this one had a good full body flavour with good tannin and compared to some of the others I've made or tasted that's good enough for me.

If you want to "judge" a wine or you want to "adjust" a wine you have made, wine tasting ability is critical. If you want to enjoy a wine the only criteria is "do you enjoy it". For simple enjoyment, a critical tasting can be a detraction.
