Experienced winemakers ---- Thank you!!

Aug 27, 2003 2 Replies

I've noticed there are many seasoned winemaking veterans on this forum who have been very patient, helpful and generous with information for the not so experienced. I think I can speak for other newbies as well when I say "thanks a million". I'm learning a great deal from you and I appreciate it. :-)

Cheers,

Jim

I'll second that. When I started wine making six years ago, I received a lot of very good advice from the experts on this list.

After a few years, you'll suddenly realize that you're helping newbies with their problems; you've become an expert yourself! A very humbling moment, I found. But that's how you pay back the experts that helped you, by passing on your experiences to others.

Here here! Been making 'bits' of wine on and off for years (some crap, some good, some excellent), only posted a couple questions here, and only recently, but in scanning through and digesting (or trying to at least) some of the vast wealth of knowledge exposed here, I've learned a whole heluvva lot already - cheers folks!

Shaun aRe looking forward to learning much more over time, and who knows, maybe eventually helping someone else out too (hey, stranger things have happened.......).
