William, Congratulations on your cab franc wine! Also I am amazed by Raymond Meyer winning best of show with a Niagara!

Thanks Joe. The C. Franc was made from grapes from my vineyard. The vines were in their third year and the wine was made from the first grapes I let the vines have. I tasted the Niagara. It was spot on for Niagara wine. It had some excellent competition for Best-Of-Show so the judges must have thought so too. Raymond Meyer is a very good winemaker and has entered our contest in years past with good success. We need more rec.crafts.winemaking vintners to enter and give Raymond some new competition. I'll post news about next year's contest and prizes next fall.
