According to Storydata.com, 49% of men and 26% of women have at least one drink every day. Only 15% of men and 8% of women have a least one drink six days a week. Does this make sense to you? The stats are in the web site in the world section.

No. Stats rarely do. I believe they're generated by the Ministry of Guesswork, plc.
WARNING! Believing statistics is dangerous to your health! Excessive consumption of statistics is likely to cause high blood pressure, leading to cardiac arrest, according to a survey carried out by Office of Statistics, on behalf of the Ministry of Guesswork, plc. A further survey revealed that over 76.7% of statistics were made up on the spot. HTH

Well my daughter brought me a cuppa tea in bed this morning and I've just put the coffee on to go with my toast...

I note from food+drink.real.ale that the question is not about
*alcohol*, its not mentioned at all.
I deliberately like to have at least one or two days a week when I don't touch alcohol.
Just to reassure myself I'm not in danger of becoming an alcoholic.

Everyday! Sometimes its tea, coffee or water. But i have to admit to drinking each day.
