I was visiting family in NE Ohio this weekend and we went to a local "Italian" restaurant for dinner. We opened a bottle of 2004 Tignanello with dinner. Deep reddish purple inthe glass. Fairly effusive nose of blackberry, vanilla and cherry. Smooth on the palate with refined, plush tannins. Black cherry, a bit of milk chocolate, blackberry and a bit of oak on a fairly round frame. Acid is there but not dominant. A very good glass of wine. "A-"
