I am the first person to say that Cabernet Sauvignon is not my favorite wine, I do like right bank Cabs, but Cali Cabs are way to perfumey for me. But tonight my wife made a whole wheat pizza, which I usually drink with a Barbera or a Zin. But tonight we had the pizza with Los Vascos, a Cab from Chile. And maybe part of the Rothshield holding in South America.
This wine is USD 8.00. No aging would work with this wine. Drink it now, even with tomato based dinners. Nice acid, but beautiful, beautiful fruit, Dark plum and raspberry. No tannins at this point, just an everyday drinker.
