Its just iced tea as we call it. Now sold in stores in bottles. Only they drank it room temp. You can pretty sick on too much iced tea.....

I agree with Joe. It was just tea, or whatever the girl wanted to drink.

I'm guessing that the Travel Vietnam guy is too young, and at the wrong end of the country to know about this :)

No, you think wrong. You don't understand about Vietnam language. It's very difficult to understand a Vietnamese word without its accents. When we see "cam lua", there're more than one word to understand: "Cấm lửa", "Cẩm lúa", "cam lụa" and more. " Cấm lửa" is dangerous caution which labelled on the flammable (i just explained it above) "Cẩm lúa" is a vodka made from Bac Ninh people (Bắc Ninh is a province in north of Vietnam). While "cam lụa" is soft drink wich many girl like enjoying.

Now, do you have more understand about our country?

If I were talking about Cam lua, you'd be correct -- but I wasn't. I was talking about Saigon tea.

I'll call next week and talk to you about it.

Sorry, Doug Reese. We won't talk about this problem, but have you been Vietnam after 1975? THere are many changes, many things are better, visit and see the life in our country. Do you know about "Pho Ha noi", "thit cho", "ruou lang Van"....? They are very wonderful that i can't explain to you. We have many more interest addresses to enjoy Vietnamese foods on our site, let us show you.

I'm in Vietnam right now.

In a warmer place than you are :)

PS. I'd advise not tying to promote eating dog to Americans. We tend to not like eating our pets.
