Some Recent PN's from CA and OR

[SNIP]

Thanks, we have a full calender for the year, with dinners, tastings, and some cooking classes around wine. Seems like we have a good core group, and one plus is this is a co-ed chapter, unlike some. What I did not need were any more black-tie events, especially if my wife could not accompany me.

[SNIP Artesa TNs]

Oh, my mistake. Now, last I heard, Gary had gone to NZ and Nancy was selling, or at least putting Pine Ridge on the blocks. Has something changed there? As I said, it's too difficult to keep up with the company/corporate thing with regards to wineries.

[SNIP Dom. Carneros TN's]

I like the still ones better (now that I've tasted this one), but still like the sparklers for a light refresher. I do, however, choose Iron Horse, or Schramsberg, over Dom. C. in most cases.

[SNIP R Stemmler TN's]

As the event was staged by a retailer, some of the esoterica was missing, such as who owned what, made the wine, and the like. I had held out hopes for this one, as I had found many of his/their PN's to be winners in the past. This example was below my expectations.

Thanks for the updates!
