I should stick with just Genealogy. Much much cheaper than the other two. :-)

I'm lucky enough to be old enough to have had a number of SECOND loves over the years. As one matures, they change, or we just become bored with the OLD LOVE, or just have worn ourselves out with that particular one.

Good question, though. Otherwise, one withers.

I'm an avid outdoors person. I love to hunt and fish. I also have trail horses (American Quarter Horses) as a hobby and my wife and I trail ride over the miles of trails around our farm and neighboring farms with our friends and neighbors. I still play guitar and sit in with friends occasionally since my "gigging" days are long over....no more 2:00am load-outs! My tastes range from Motown to Mozart but I'm especially fond of 60's & 70's rock, folk rock, country rock. etc. My official residence is on a golf course (Muirfield Village) so I still play a bit of golf but not nearly as avidly as I used to.....I've been trying to upgrade my language so the less I play the better my language..:-) Lastly, I enjoy automobiles and have been a Porsche fan for most of my adult life. So I have a lot on my plate besides wine!

Golf, Rock Climbing and hiking, playing Blues guitar, Native American Studies.

Cooking, Gypsy Jazz, Western Swing, hiking, craft beers.

I bowl twice a week; I guess that's Number Two. I also enjoy music. My CD collection is a mish-mash of classic rock, prog rock, alternative rock, and a few jazz discs (I'm a fan of Medeski Martin & Wood). I'm big on food, with the waistline to show it! And of course, there is often a computer running in my home.

Emery, I know that this is probably before your time but did you ever have a chance to work with or see Frank Rosolino in concert? I'm a huge fan of his work.

Well, I'd list wine as my third love (after my wife and my job). :)

But as far as activities, wine (in partnership with food) is number one.

But I also enjoy: dogs, especially mine, and spend quite a bit of time walking mine (and sometime friends') reading - pretty broad tastes, though the mystery genre probably is most prevalent. If I lost my eyesight it would take away a huge part of my life. music- I can't perform at all. I can't imagine life without music, either. Lots of rock/folk/"Americana", but also some jazz, classical, and occasional country. As Betsy is a classical musician, most of the live performances I attend are opera or chamber.

I also enjoy art (years ago I was the only homeless member of MOMA!), biking, and hiking. For years I was a crossword addict, but don't do as often any more.

A great player. Indeed before my time, and west coast to boot. I was never fortunate enough to meet or hear him in person.

Attending/photographing the soccer and American football games of my two boys; playing volleyball (both indoor and beach); golfing and carp fishing (although I do these very rarely now that I am living in Germany) and I have become addicted to podcasts - I very rarely listen to music anymore.

Well, not nice to rank loves. First one is of course my daughter, and that would make wine at least the second, but I think that family is out of scope in your survey.
