Hi
The other day an old acquaintance gave me a present of whitch I don't know what to do. It's a bottle of La Tour du Pin Figeac 1960! He told me the bottle was stored in a celler with very moderate temperature fluctuations and in absolute darknes. In connection with a clean-up there was found 12 bottles of rather high age. One of them was the bottle he was so kind to give me. And now my little problem: The bottle is in fine condition as far as i can see. Allmost full (top-shoulder) and the wine is pretty clear inspected through the bottle with some deposit. I'm rather tempted to open the bottle, but on the other hand - its a funny little thin to display in my wine store. What would You do?
