There is a "2 books & CD" set of Hugh Johnson
I saw on Amazon that the newest edition of the World Atlas of Wine comes out October 1, 2007. Does anyone know what this "World Atlas of Wine - Special Edition" is?

My copy is "Completely revised 5th edition" "Special Edition." Don't know how it differs from other editions, but it is a great reference for wine geography -- densely packed with information, photos and maps.

Since I will probably buy ONE, I will wait until October 1, 2007. Maybe some of it will be updated. Maybe the "Special Edition" means that it comes with the other two items; but, who knows.

I know the atlas was packaged together with some other book (I think by Robinson) a year or two ago. It's pretty recent now. I don't know what's changed in the last three years.
