a word to tell you that there is now a Facebook group called YAFI WINE (Yacchos + AFW + FRBV + IHV + Iacchos)
It brings together a bunch of veterans from the various usenet wine groups: AFW, but also its french and english language equivalents.
It will be a nice vinous multilingual mess but it should be fun. And you can post photos.
Feel free to join, and invite others!
All languages will coexist, reply to those you feel comfortable with... ;-)

Thank you Mike. I did join but my French is a hinderence more than a help. While I can read French and my verbal skills allow me to get by when visiting France, my grammer and spelling are so horrible that I would never attempt to respond in French, but it sounds like fun and I look forward to following the group.
Actually the idea is to also have english threads going on independenly. Feel free to start or join any thread.
