I imagine that it would be possible to find supplies in a city as large as Hong Kong, check the phone book or online for a store in Hong Kong that sells supplies... worst that could happen is that you would need to mail-order supplies.

You need to ask what web sites to study and what books to order.

Meh-Look for a local homebrew or winemaking shop. Buy a wine kit and the equipment the store suggests. Buy the book "From Vines to Wines" by Jeff Cox. Read about winemaking on these excellent web sites;

There's some other good sites to do some homework before starting your first batch.

I will lay odds that, if it is not illegal, you can fined a store that caters to the wine maker in Hong Kong. Pick up a beginners kit for a 5 or 6 gal glass jug or carboy and get some decent books on making country wines. C.J.J Berry's "First Steps in Winemaking" is a little dated but an excellent practical introduction to winemaking. Also, get one extra 5 gal jug and acquire some 1 gal glass jugs. They will come in handy.

You could make some fascinating wines form all those fabulous fruit you get in Asia. Just imaging jackfruit wine or even, uhhh, Durian wine. Wow.

Seriously, for your first batch, get the kit mentioned above which includes all the hardware and get a good quality white wine kit and make it first. Riesling or Gewürztraminer, or something like that. You can have a very good wine in 2 to 6 months that way. You will be amazed at what you make.
